This year marks the 70th anniversary of this annual event, being celebrated on October 18th and hosted by Credit Union National Association (CUNA) and World Council of Credit Unions to commemorate the achievements of the credit union movement.

With a nod to its platinum anniversary and the notion that credit unions make platinum-lined differences in the lives of their members, the day’s theme is “Find Your Platinum Lining in Credit Unions.” Marked by a day of festivities, International Credit Union Day offers credit unions worldwide a platform to remind their members and spread the word among local communities about what it means to be part of a credit union and what differentiates credit unions from other financial partners.
